Larken Associates hires investment guru to lead firm’s work to source new capital as CIO

David Iacobucci will use his 30 years' experience evaluating new investments

Larken Associates on Wednesday announced it hired David Iacobucci as chief investment officer. He will bring over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role with the Branchburg-based real estate office.

Iacobucci will work closely with CEO and President David Gardner and Chief Financial Officer Babette Rutman as the company continues to grow and profitably manage its investment portfolio. In addition, Iacobucci will lead the firm’s work to source new capital and evaluate new investments to bolster its growing portfolio of multifamily, office, industrial and retail properties.

Before joining Larken, Iacobucci served for six years as senior investment officer for Bergman Real Estate Group, a New Jersey-based family-owned real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, ownership, management, leasing and construction supervision of office buildings and commercial properties.

Throughout his career, Iacobucci also served as senior vice president of Vision Real Estate Partners; managing director of Woodmont Industrial Partners; division manager of the Baker Cos.; and vice president of asset management of the Schultz Organization.
