Dodge Construction Network acquired Principia Consulting, a data, research and consulting firm, according to a Tuesday announcement.
The acquisition expands the Hamilton-based firm’s advisory services suite to bring new consultative and research capabilities to the market.
Principia delivers data, primary research and market intelligence focused on the building materials industry. The firm guides its clients in making strategic business decisions, creating competitive advantages and answering critical market growth, share and segmentation questions. The acquisition of Principia broadens Dodge’s capabilities in residential markets and adds further expertise in the commercial sector.
“We have a history at Dodge of delivering intuitive, reliable insights,” Steve Masters, senior vice president of product management at Dodge, stated. “The addition of Principia enables us to expand the depth of our services to meet the needs of our customers across the market. We are now positioned to provide a full breadth of experience that is powered by our data and analytics.”
Lou Rossi, managing partner at Principia, added: “We are excited to broaden the advantage we present to clients as part of Dodge. The combined assets and synergies will create new opportunities and a comprehensive approach to better serve the broader building materials industry.”
Principia will be integrated with Dodge Advisory Services, supported by a dedicated team of industry experts providing industry research, forecasting, and analysis.
