Morristown-based PerformLine on Tuesday said Paul Wilmore has joined the company as its first chief operating officer. Wilmore brings over 30 years of financial services experience to the Morristown-based provider of omnichannel marketing compliance software, and a proven track record of building and leading financial startups through periods of tremendous growth and profitability. He will report directly to PerformLine CEO Alex Baydin.
“I am thrilled to have Paul join our team as we enter this next phase of rapid growth,” Baydin said in a statement. “Paul’s deep knowledge of growth companies, his extensive leadership and expertise in the bank-fintech space are the ideal mix to help PerformLine execute its vision as we scale and expand our operations.”
Wilmore joins the company after having helped lead publicly traded Cardtronics, a trusted leader in financial self-service, through a successful sale to NCR, as its global chief marketing officer. Prior to that, he served as CMO of Barclays U.S. Consumer Bank, where his team supported both the co-brand business unit and the digital consumer bank by driving innovation that accelerated the push towards digital engagement.
Wilmore recognized the company’s potential early on: “Having been one of the early adopters of PerformLine’s technology while at Barclays, I saw its revolutionary ability to help organizations quickly build, centralize and scale their marketing compliance initiatives to allow for compliant growth. As PerformLine continues its significant growth, building a strong foundation of people and processes while leveraging our data and partnerships will enable us to maximize our market opportunity.”
