Sax expands transaction advisory expertise with the addition of partner-in-charge

Parsippany-based accounting, tax and business advisory firm Sax LLP announced that, effective last week, Kevin Moyer joined as partner and practice leader of the firm’s established Transaction Advisory Services Group.

Moyer brings over a decade of experience to Sax’s Transaction Advisory Services Group, where he will be responsible for the overall strategy and the delivery of client-related services. His transaction knowledge allows him to advise his clients on financial and operational diligence, value creation initiatives and corporate restructuring mandates.

“We are working every day to create value for our clients and business partners, and, with the uptick in deal volume we are seeing, they have a need for superior guidance to grab opportunities and control risk,” Joseph A. Damiano, CEO and managing partner at Sax, stated “Kevin’s diverse transaction experience will be of tremendous benefit to our clients and business partners during this important transition, and as partner-in-charge of the practice, he brings significant expertise and resources to see successful outcomes through for those we serve.”

Prior to joining Sax, Moyer was a member of the Transaction Strategy & Execution Group at EY Parthenon, the global strategy consulting arm of Ernst & Young. While at EYP, he focused on the execution of Sell & Separate mandates, which included operational and financial diligence for carveouts, spins and divestitures throughout both the private equity and large cap corporate markets.

“These services are critical to business owners during delicate deal-making, and having the right adviser will get them to the finish line. Our team, under my leadership, will guide our clients and business partners every step of the way to ensure a seamless transition for everyone,” Moyer said.
