The New Jersey Conference for Women is back in-person after a two-year hiatus, according to its host, the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. The conference is one of the largest gatherings of professional women in the state of New Jersey, and this year it will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal.
Headlining the conference is Alicia Menendez, author and host on MSNBC. Menendez will deliver the afternoon keynote based on her book, “The Likability Trap.” Preceding her on the main stage will be an opening keynote from author and entrepreneur Jen Groover, and a fireside chat with Michele Meyer-Shipp, the CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide.
“The New Jersey Conference for Women is the single best professional development and networking experience our region has to offer,” said Chamber CEO Hal English. “It is a day packed with opportunities for professional women to expand their network and get reenergized after two years apart. We’re really looking forward to it.”
The daylong conference includes keynote speakers, a general session, educational workshops, exhibitor tables and ample opportunities for networking. Presented by NJM Insurance Group, the New Jersey Conference for Women expects nearly 500 to attend from a variety of fields including law, finance, pharma, banking, professional services, nonprofit and more. Companies that will be represented at the conference range from Fortune 100s to Main Street sole proprietors.
The New Jersey Conference for Women is a program of the Women in Business Alliance of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. What began as a small group of like-minded women coming together to help each other advance their career has since grown into the premier educational and networking opportunities in our state.
Tickets for the New Jersey Conference for Women cost $175, and they are currently on sale through the NJCFW website.
