Cranford-based MSPC Certified Public Accountants and Advisors P.C. on Tuesday announced that Najoung Kim has been named a partner in the firm.
Kim joined the firm in 2006 and has two decades of experience providing audit and assurance services to publicly traded and privately owned companies. Over her career, she has worked extensively with international clients, especially in China and Hong Kong.
Kim has experience with various industries, including manufacturing, broker-dealers, hospitality, media, construction, technology, finance, health care, mining and shipping. Kim has extensive experience in SEC filings, including initial registration statements and reverse mergers, accounting for complex equity transactions, business combination accounting and international consolidations. Kim enjoys collaborating in audit and consulting work with member firms of Moore Global Ltd. from various countries. She often performs Appendix K work, reviewing the workpapers of non-U.S. audit firms that report on U.S. listed companies, to determine that the workpapers comply with U.S. auditing standards.
“Najoung has proven herself with strong technical skills and is an integral part of our international work. Her ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues within the firm and through our relationship with Moore Global is exemplary. I am honored to call her my partner and know that the firm and our clients will continue to benefit from her leadership,” noted Jon Gagliardi, MSPC’s managing principal.
