Tattoo and piercing shop Benny Binnu is now open at Hamilton Street Center in Franklin Township, according to a Wednesday announcement from Levin Management Corp., the property’s leasing and managing agent.
Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty, LMC senior leasing representative, arranged the 750-square-foot transaction; Angelo Mitlo of Deluccia Commercial Group represented the tenant.
The shop is a new business venture for owner Benny Binnu, a highly trained tattoo artist who has been perfecting his craft for 15 years. His passion for the art of tattooing began in Italy and has continued since moving to the U.S. four years ago. He developed a loyal following throughout the tri-state area and decided the time was right to open his own studio.
“Opening my own shop has been a dream, and I am excited to see this dream become a reality,” said Binnu. “Our shop is modern, clean and comfortable. A tattoo is forever; selecting the best tattoo artist gives someone the best experience and optimal results. I do beautiful work and invite potential clients to visit our shop to discuss their new tattoo and see how my skills can bring their vision to life.”
Benny Binnu’s professional piercing services include body piercings for adults as well as children’s ear piercings.
“We follow the highest standards for sanitation and sterilization,” Binnu added.
Located on Hamilton Street, Hamilton Street Center is anchored by a 12,800-square-foot Super Tropical Supermarket. The 27,700-square-foot property’s tenant mix also includes 99 Cent Plus and a laundromat.
“We are pleased to accommodate Benny Binnu’s space needs at Hamilton Street Center,” Fernandez-Kelty said. “This business will benefit from the property’s excellent demographics and visibility in the revitalized Hamilton Street corridor, as well as its proximity to downtown New Brunswick and Rutgers University. It is a great fit for this neighborhood.”
