Kelly, Mantell among six McCarter & English to join equity ranks

Newark-based attorneys Laura Kelly and Natalie Mantell were among six McCarter & English partners elevated to equity ranks, the firm announced.

The pair were joined by Michael DeGrazia (based in Boston), Zack Hadzismajlovic (New York), Leigh Martinson (Boston) and Rolan Joni Young (Hartford).

The elevation was effective Oct. 1.

Chairman Joseph Lubertazzi said the promotions mark the success of the latest fiscal year.

“The ability to grow our equity partnership ranks with these six lawyers is a source of tremendous pride for our firm,” Lubertazzi said. “They are distinguished professionals, collaborative and supportive colleagues and a reflection of our enduring success in an ever-changing marketplace.”

Managing Partner Joseph Boccassini said the six have distinguished themselves.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Mike, Zack, Laura, Natalie, Leigh and Rolan to our equity partner ranks,” he said. “In addition to being exceptional lawyers and trusted advisers to their clients, our new equity partners are accomplished and dedicated leaders both within the firm and their broader communities.

“I look forward to continuing to work with them to advance the firm’s growth and congratulate them on this great achievement.”
