Valley achieves high-level Most Wired certification for 2022

Valley Health System has been recognized as one of the nation’s “Most Wired,” according to CHIME HealthCare’s Digital Health Most Wired 2022 survey.

The distinction recognizes hospitals and health systems that are at the forefront of using health care information technology to improve the delivery of care. Valley received a Level 8 certification in the Acute survey selection, which is one of the highest certifications given by CHIME.

Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, Valley ranked above peers in categories such as analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure and patient engagement.

The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.

This is the 22nd year that Valley has made this prestigious list. The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for health care organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the survey reflects the progress of leading health care providers as they reinvent health care for a new century.

“Valley is proud to have once again made the Most Wired list and to have earned one of the highest certification levels,” Eric Carey, vice president of information systems and chief information officer for Valley Health System, stated. “We strategically leverage technology to optimize access to high-quality care, as well as to improve outcomes and the patient experience. Driving toward the opening of our new hospital, we are excited about the exceptional new technologies we are implementing to further our commitment to our patients.”

“We are proud to honor your team’s exceptional dedication to excellence in digital health,” CHIME CEO and President Russell Branzell said. “Your pioneering performance in the industry inspires other organizations by example. Patients in communities around the world receive better care when you drive change through digital transformation, as you have proven through your success in this rigorous program.”
