Valley Health System announced that the assistant vice president of quality/performance improvement and clinical operations for Valley Medical Group, Joshua Gregoire, received the 2022 Innovation in the Continuum of Care Award from the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ.
According to ONL NJ, this award is given to a nurse leader who has implemented a project that has a significant impact outside of the acute care setting.
“As a direct result of his leadership, Joshua was able to create a vaccination program during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has vaccinated greater than 200,000 patients in our community,” Charles Vannoy, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer of the Valley Hospital, said. “During this time, he also launched a telemedicine program and implemented an initiative that assisted providers with documenting to the highest level of specificity for value-based risk adjustments.”
Gregoire and other OLN NJ award recipients were recognized earlier this month at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
