Elizabethtown Gas ranks highest in customer satisfaction for 8th consecutive year

Subsidiary of South Jersey Industries was named by J.D. Power as best residential gas service in East among midsize utilities

Elizabethtown Gas has been named the best in Customer Satisfaction with Residential Natural Gas Service in the East among midsize utilities by J.D. Power for the eighth consecutive year, the utility announced.

The J.D. Power 2022 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study measures critical components that drive overall satisfaction among residential gas utility customers across four U.S. geographic regions.

In addition to achieving the highest overall ranking among comparable gas utilities, Elizabethtown Gas also received the highest score in the following factors within the East midsize segment of the study: Safety & Reliability, Price, Corporate Citizenship, Communications and Customer Care.

Elizabethtown Gas, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries, serves more than 300,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in parts of Union, Middlesex, Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Morris and Mercer counties.

President and Chief Operating Officer Christie McMullen said the honor is recognition of a teamwide effort.
