Chez Alice Patisserie is opening a second New Jersey location in Lambertville, according to a Thursday announcement from Genesis Hospitality. The French-inspired artisanal bakery, which has its first location in Princeton, is known for its delicate pastries and elegant decor.
A newly renovated storefront on Bridge Street in the heart of Lambertville, next to the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, will carry Chez Alice’s specialty desserts, including macarons, eclairs, napoleons and signature cakes like Mango Mousse and Framboisier, with three layers of dark chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, raspberry buttercream, fresh berries and raspberry liqueur.
The newly store also offers an intimate seating area adjacent to the glass bakery cases, which are filled with colorful pastries. It even offers guests a light breakfast or lunch menu of salads and sandwiches, and tea time can also be reserved on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“We are thrilled to open our new location in this vibrant community,” Elka Devash, chief creative officer of Genesis Hospitality, said.
