Iron Culture, a high-intensity luxury gym, has opened its second location, in North Bergen, after a lease signing brokered by RIPCO Real Estate.
The gym, located at 7700 River Road, is a 19,800-square-foot fitness center. Founded by Arthur Imperatore, the gym had its first opening in Cedar Knolls in 2019.
“After successfully opening our first location, we are confident that Iron Culture’s expansion and now-established presence will provide more fitness-goers the opportunity to experience our offering,” Imperatore said in a prepared statement. “Having a new location on the waterfront in North Bergen holds a sentimental value to me, since I grew up in the area.”
Deborah Stone, managing director of RIPCO, served as exclusive broker for Iron Culture, while Craig Kerbekian, senior vice president of Hekemian, represented the landlord in the deal.
“Iron Culture’s vision to open a high-end fitness center near the waterfront truly brings a magnificent gym into creation,” Stone said.
