Larken hires Folco, bolsters Central Jersey property management team

Larken Associates has named Josh Folco its commercial property manager for its central New Jersey commercial real estate portfolio, the firm announced Tuesday.

Folco brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role with Larken Associates and will work closely with Jamie Kerr, the firm’s commercial asset manager, as the company continues to expand its commercial real estate portfolio of industrial, office, retail and self-storage properties.

In his new role, Folco will oversee 12 unique properties spanning over 1 million square feet within Larken Associates’ expansive commercial portfolio and build upon the company’s reputation for hands-on management and excellent tenant service.

Before joining Larken Associates, Folco served 10 years as commercial property manager for Panagakos Development, a Massachusetts-based commercial real estate leasing and development firm, where he oversaw a portfolio of 75-plus Class A and B commercial properties. Folco also previously served as a commercial real estate broker with Hackensack-based Alexander Anderson Real Estate Group.

“As we continue to prioritize strategic growth across our commercial real estate portfolio, it’s vital that we place the right people in positions to ensure our tenant experience continues to be second to none,” Larken CEO David Gardner said. “Through the addition of Josh and his tremendous experience, we are confident that we are ensuring that we can continue to provide the premier management services our tenants expect from a building owned by Larken Associates.”

Folco said he was eager to join the team.

“From my initial meeting with Larken Associates, it was clear that high standards underline everything at the company,” he said. “I am honored to bring my experience and skillset to the company to enhance the properties I manage and build upon our reputation for excellence in the commercial real estate industry.”
