Princeton-based ETS on Wednesday said it appointed Jeffrey Melnick as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately. Melnick will serve as the financial leader for the global educational assessment and data organization.
Melnick succeeds Jack Hayon, who retired after 19 years with ETS.
“I am excited to welcome Jeff to ETS,” ETS CEO Amit Sevak said. “He brings a record of accomplishments in finance and technology-enabled professional services to this role. As part of the senior ETS leadership team, he will offer a fresh, global and hands-on approach as we enter this next phase of ETS’ transformation.”
Melnick previously served as CFO at both EisnerAmper, one of the country’s largest accounting firms, with a heavy presence in New Jersey, and as a divisional CFO of Marsh Inc., a global insurance broker. His professional experience also includes General Electric and Ernst & Young. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Buffalo and his master’s degree in taxation from Long Island University.
“I look forward to supporting the ETS mission and working with the ETS team to expand ETS’ global footprint and portfolio,” said Melnick. “I am dedicated to supporting ETS as it paves the way for more learners than ever before to pursue and achieve their educational goals as the world’s leader in assessment and data.”
