Le Léo in Jersey City’s Journal Square hits 75% leased milestone

Journal Square’s Le Léo has quickly found its mark in Jersey City’s crowded rental market, with an impressive 75% of its 99 apartments leased since a late-fall debut, according to a Monday announcement from developers Park Stone Management and Fields Grade.

Located at 244 St. Paul’s Ave., just minutes from the Journal Square PATH Station with direct service to Manhattan, the new six-story rental building offers a complete amenity package and modern residences with upscale finishes and appointments.

“Journal Square is fast becoming Jersey City’s premier lifestyle destination, with plenty of brand new and fashionable residential options,” Jonathan Feifer, founder/owner of Park Stone Management, said. “We’re delighted that Le Léo has been incredibly well received in a competitive market where demand is high, and inventory is sparse. This building has drawn both Jersey City locals and neighborhood newcomers who appreciate its contemporary design, luxury homes, lively environment and great location.”

Designed by MHS Architecture, Le Léo features well-designed apartments with 9-foot ceilings, luxury plank flooring and lavish kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, full-height backsplashes, soft-close cabinetry and under-cabinet lighting. Sumptuous baths are outfitted with porcelain tile floors and full-height tiled walls.

Studio, one- and two-bedroom homes at Le Léo start in the mid-$2,500s with limited time incentives that include up to two months free, according to the Marketing Directors, the building’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent. Immediate occupancy is available.

Enhancing Le Léo residents’ lifestyle is a wide offering of thoughtful amenities and social spaces. These include a welcoming lobby lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, resident lounge and coworking space with a conference room. An outdoor rooftop terrace features private dining areas and barbecues, sun loungers, a misting station and firepits with seating. Conveniences include an outdoor dog run, resident storage, bike storage and enclosed garage parking.

“Le Léo’s amenity spaces were designed to foster community and encourage socialization among residents while also providing areas for remote working,” Robert Caulfield, a partner at Fields Grade, added. “Incorporating Choc-O-Pain into the lobby enhances the resident experience and creates a connection to the neighborhood.”
