Plymouth Rock Management Co. of New Jersey on Tuesday said it appointed Rick Jaros as chief direct response officer for the direct-to-consumer auto insurance business. Based in Woodbridge, Jaros reports directly to CEO and President Jeff Briglia.
In this newly created role, Jaros will oversee the digital marketing strategy, optimize operations and advance organizational practices in the direct response channel. He will also be responsible for implementing solutions that enhance the digital customer experience and support a comprehensive business approach.
“Rick is an exceptional leader who brings a data-driven mindset and a wealth of knowledge in digital integration, operations and process improvement from his work in both banking and financial services,” Briglia said. “We are thrilled to add someone of Rick’s caliber to our leadership team, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to focus on growth, profitability improvement and business performance.”
“I am thrilled to join Plymouth Rock at such a pivotal time,” Jaros said. “With the investments Plymouth Rock is making in digital capabilities and Jeff’s vision for the future, I am excited to join the company and work with new colleagues to facilitate its digital transformation journey.”
For more than two decades, Jaros has held many senior roles in digital marketing across the financial services industry. He is joining Plymouth Rock from Sherpa Credit, a digital-centric credit counseling company he co-founded. Prior to that, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Spinnaker Consulting Group and served as principal of customer channels and operations management. Earlier in his career, Jaros served as senior vice president and head of digital at TD Bank, and also spent time working for HSBC and Capital One.
Before entering into financial services and banking, Jaros was a nuclear qualified officer in the Navy.
