Brooklyn-based +MEDRITE will be opening its doors to its newest location in Fort Lee on Monday.
This will be +MEDRITE’s fifth location in the Garden State.
+MEDRITE’s Fort Lee Urgent Care Center is located at 458 West St. and will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, cold and flu season is starting earlier this year and New Jersey has consistently ranked among some of the highest in the U.S. for respiratory illness on the weekly influenza reporting.
+MEDRITE is offering patients preventative measures to protect them against various strands of COVID-19 and the seasonal flu, including COVID-19 boosters, flu shots and other vaccinations. Getting a flu shot can reduce the risk of illness between 40% and 60% among the overall population.
“Our team is no stranger to the impact of the yearly cold and flu uptick, and we make it a priority to serve our patients … no matter the reason,” Samuel Fisch, CEO of +MEDRITE, said. “This time of year can be hectic for a number of reasons, and no one likes being sick. We are here for our patients to treat injuries, illness, and assist in taking preventative measures to keep you and your loved ones healthy.”
