Chef David Burke’s Jersey Shore restaurants celebrate Valentine’s Day

Chef David Burke is spreading the love. This Valentine’s Day, Burke is running specials at his Jersey Shore restaurants with prix fixe and a la carte menus.

Each of Burke’s three Shore restaurants plan to offer a uniquely different concept featuring creative offerings with a high level of service and what Burke calls a “world-class dining experience” that his patrons have come to love and expect.

DRIFTHOUSE by David Burke in Sea Bright is now celebrating its fifth anniversary with a refreshed interior and revamped menu inspired by the restaurant’s iconic oceanfront location. Burke has elevated DRIFTHOUSE’s seafood focus even further and now joining his exclusive custom-made lobster tanks and oyster spas on display in the dining room is a market-style seafood case stocked with fresh selections displayed on ice where restaurant guests can select their seafood and style of preparation. The Three Course Prix Fixe Menu costs $85-plus and continues to follow in the direction of Coastal Italian-Mediterranean cuisine, with more outrageously delicious house-made pastas dishes and plenty of options for “land lovers,” too. The DRIFTHOUSE also has a cozy wood-burning fireplace in the Gallery Room, which is available for private or business affairs of up to 60 guests.

Meanwhile, at Red Horse by David Burke — the famous kitchen is where the chef began his career as a teen as a line cook while a Culinary Institute of America student — will offer a decadent three-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu plus amuse for $135-plus per person. The modern American steakhouse with an Asian twistis  located in the historic building that once housed the legendary Fromagerie, which set the foundation for New Jersey’s current rich dining scene. The super chic, equine art-filled setting serves up a New York City-level dining experience in its bar/lounge, main dining room and sushi bar loft. The Red Horse’s décor is so unique it received recognition from Architectural Digest in “11 restaurants that feature awe-inspiring art as worthy as their menus 2021.”

Additionally, THE GOAT by David Burke in Union Beach, is a playful Italian-American bistro with a menu that centers around a custom wood-burning oven. The vibe is fun and neighborly with a happening bar and amusing goat-themed original artwork. Locals quickly claimed it as their new favorite spot to meet for a quick lunch, an amazing Happy Hour, delicious dinner or Sunday Brunch. Dubbed as “a solid option” in the Bayshore region, THE GOAT is a destination that both excites and delights. The upstairs Chandelier Room, a private dining room with its own bar — and gorgeous chandeliers rescued from a local mansion — is available for social and business events. Valentine’s Day will feature a special three-course prix fixe menu plus amuse for $75-plus per guest. Reserve and dine with four or more guests on Valentine’s Day and receive 14% off the bill.
