Garden Communities opens final building at Basking Ridge multifamily community

Short Hills-based Garden Communities on Wednesday said the second and final building at the Enclave at Dewy Meadows in Basking Ridge is now open. The completion marks another significant milestone at the community of 198 luxury rental residences and loft-style apartments.

Residents now have access to the services of an on-site leasing office and a full complement of newly unveiled lifestyle amenities.

Following the rapid lease-up of the property’s first building, the second phase is nearly 100% leased and residents are moving in.

“Demand at the Enclave at Dewy Meadows has been steady since the property’s introduction, a credit to the draw of the lifestyle this dynamic community offers,” Joe Korn, Garden Communities developer, said. “With the completion of our second building and on-site social and recreational amenities, residents truly have it all — just steps from their front door.”

In addition to the leasing office and rental residences, the new building includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, two distinct lounges with kitchen areas, a card room, business center and children’s playroom. The pet-friendly community also has a dog washing station. Outside, a swimming pool and playground will open in the spring, complementing the property’s expansive open green spaces, which include a lush lawn area and a quarter-mile exercise/fitness path. Bike storage and electric vehicle charging stations support eco-friendly transportation.

Beyond its on-site features, the Enclave at Dewy Meadows offers a “village concept” setting, sitting amongst the restaurants, shops and service retail of Dewy Meadow Village.

Featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts and loft-style rental residences, apartments at Dewy Meadows offer gourmet kitchens and oversize windows that bring in plenty of natural light, and many residences offer a private balcony. All have spacious custom closets, in-suite washers and dryers and resident-controlled heating and air conditioning units. Rents begin at $2,700 for a one-bedroom apartment.
