Morrow joins A.Y. Strauss as partner in commercial real estate group

A.Y. Strauss, a leading boutique law firm focused on commercial transactions and litigation in the areas of commercial real estate, franchise law, construction contracting and corporate bankruptcy, is pleased to announce that Michael Morrow has joined as a partner in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Group.

For the past 14 years, Morrow has represented clients in the purchase, sale, disposition and development of hotels, solar farms, office centers, warehouses and retail centers. His experience also includes handling commercial lease drafting and negotiations and loan workouts. He also has represented New Jersey, New York and Delaware business entities and trustees throughout the bankruptcy process.

Aaron Y. Strauss, the firm’s managing partner, welcomed Morrow to the team.

Prior to joining A.Y. Strauss, Michael was a partner in the Princeton office of Hill Wallach, representing national and community banks and private lenders in secured lending transactions, loan modifications and restructurings.  Prior to this role, he served as an associate handling bankruptcy matters at a boutique firm.

Morrow is a member of the New Jersey and the New York bar associations. He earned a B.A. from Dickinson College and a J.D. from New York Law School. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York.
