Bussell Realty Retail Services helps PetWellClinic ink lease for Paramus store opening

Bussel Realty Retail Services, a division of Bussel Realty Corp., on Monday said it represented PetWellClinic in opening its newest store, at 23 N. Fairview Ave. in Paramus.

Chandler Vanderbeek and Connor Vanderbeek, both vice presidents with BRC Retail Services, represented the emerging pet-wellness franchise in the 1,000-square-foot lease transaction. The landlord, BLK Realty Holdings LLC, was represented by RE/MAX Properties.

The clinic will provide pet parents with accessibility to on-demand veterinarian expertise as well as several service offerings including preventative care and handling of minor issues/ailments.

“PetWellClinic was built to better meet the vast needs of pet’s health and wellness while taking into account the time and availability of the pet parent to get the answers they need to make the best decisions for their furry family member,” veterinarian Sam Meisler, founder and CEO of PetWellClinic, said in a release.

“The walk-in clinic is revolutionizing vet care across America, and we want the public to know there is an alternative to an animal hospital or waiting for a pop-up clinic in their area. The need for urgent care for people was clear, the essential walk-in need for pets is also evident,” he added.

The property is located directly off the confluence of Route 4 and Route 17, just minutes away from all major highways, shopping destinations and the Paramus Mall. The multitenanted retail strip center totals 12,000 square feet and offers plenty of on-site parking.

PetWellClinic is headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, the home to four company-affiliated clinics and one franchised operation. Nearly 80 locations are under development nationwide. Other franchisees are preparing to open at least one clinic each in Colorado, New Hampshire, New York City, Pittsburgh and South Florida.
