Marcus & Millichap on Wednesday announced it elevated Chez Eider to vice president, investments, in the firm’s New Jersey office.
Eider heads the Eider Group, specializing in the sales and advisory of New Jersey multifamily and office investment properties, as well as development sites. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has closed more than $266 million in total sales volume. His current pipeline of active and under contract listings is worth over $370 million.
“Connecting with people is second nature for me, so the Marcus & Millichap culture of collaboration helps close deals by matchmaking the right equity to investment opportunities while leveraging local knowledge and expertise through its national platform,” Eider said. “With my deep roots and a diverse background in the real estate industry, as well as a proven track record in marketing, my clients benefit from a unique perspective in the advisory role representing owners by maximizing the value of their properties.”
Eider brings with him over 20 years of experience in real estate and a bachelor’s degree in Talmudic Law from the Lev Aryeh Institute in Jerusalem, Israel. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Eider began his career in an advisory role at an investment banking and securities brokerage firm and later founded a national commercial construction and real estate development firm. His focus was on ground-up commercial and residential development, as well as value-add investments through ground-up development, renovation and repositioning in a variety of sectors.
