Parsippany-based OGC Solutions, a midsized law firm that specializes in providing its Outside General Counsel Solutions to midcap companies, welcomed Veronica Brackett Blackman as its new chief of staff on Monday. Blackman joins OGC Solutions from management consulting firm Egon Zehnder, where she was the right hand to the global head of its Media, Entertainment and Sports practice.
Blackman has managed projects pertaining to executive recruitment and leadership advisory, serving as a client liaison and a stakeholder advocate at Egon Zehnder. Additionally, she spearheaded initiatives optimizing internal processes and procedures by planning and directing the group’s administrative and operational activities, which will perfectly suit her as chief of staff.
“We are thrilled to bring Veronica to OGC Solutions,” Chris Santomassimo, a partner of OGC Solutions, said. “She will bring incredible expertise to her role as chief of staff, and I am sure she will serve as a thought leader for our team, and the attorneys she will oversee. “
Prior to Egon Zehnder, Blackman got her start in finance and accounting, first with a private accounting firm in New Jersey servicing small- and medium-sized businesses. Then she moved to aviation finance, working closely with leadership across the most recognizable air carriers in the world, as well as helping to foster employee connectivity and service standards during global training events as part of the management company for Oneworld Airline Alliance.
OGC Solutions is a full-service law firm focused on providing subscription, flat-fee and alternative fee legal services to businesses and business owners. The firm has offices in Parsippany, New York and Philadelphia.
