Short Hills architecture firm names Tarquinio principal

Architecture and interior design firm Studio 1200 recently named Siro Prisco Tarquinio Principal of the firm, according to an announcement from Partners Sandee Markwith and Nancy Dougherty.

“Prisco embodies the mission of Studio 1200: passion for design, and dedication to outstanding client service,” Markwith said.

“Prisco exemplifies the collaborative spirit and creative problem-solving that drives Studio 1200. We are enormously proud to have him join our leadership team,” Dougherty added.

Tarquinio leads the Short Hills-based firm’s single and multifamily residential and mixed-use practice areas. His experience spans large- and small-scale single-family residential projects throughout the area, as well as mixed-use and multifamily buildings in multiple downtown communities. Currently, he and his team are developing sites in Bernardsville, Flemington, Madison, Millburn and Summit.

With a client base from the Hamptons to the Jersey Shore, Tarquinio is known for his ability to turn a client’s dream into fruition, often solving complex design challenges and always striving to exceed expectations.

Tarquinio’s passion for architecture began as a young boy growing up in Italy, the firm noted.
