Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab will open a new, state-of-the-art facility in Medford later this year.
Located at 338 Stokes Road, only a mile from the practice’s current site, the 5,000-square-foot facility will more than double the space available for Davis PTSR, with 800 square feet of open space/turf for return-to-play programming and video analysis of sport-specific biomechanics.
The new building will also include three evaluation rooms and have a testing suite for Davis PTSR’s proprietary Analytics for Athletes program.
Known for its expansive use of technology, the team will utilize the additional space for even more, as the team branches out further with its ACL and spine programs as well as concussion recovery, team and small group training, clinical education and sports psychology.
The soon-to-be new home for Davis PTSR has been vacant for years and the one-time apothecary is being completely retrofitted to create a facility that will enhance the team’s ability to better help patients.
“This has been on the horizon for a while and the timing is right, as we have outgrown our current space. When finished, it will truly showcase our synergy and team approach — two hallmarks that are key to patients’ treatment success,” Dr. Andrea Davis, owner, said.
