Exchange Place Alliance relocates to new offices in Jersey City

Exchange Place Alliance on Wednesday said it has relocated its office to 239 Washington St. on the Exchange Place/Paulus Hook border, taking 900 square feet for three years with a further option to extend the lease.

“Exchange Place is now a dynamic hub of events and community programming,” Elizabeth Cain, executive director, said. “As the organization — and neighborhood — grows, we needed to expand our office capacity, especially returning to the office post-pandemic.”

The building at 239 Washington St. has been family-owned and managed by the Livingston-based Punia Co. for three generations. The building was at one time the Provident Bank headquarters.

Bobby Antonicello Jr. from Grid Real Estate represented the landlord, Ryan Tiger of Punia Co., and Corcoran Sawyer Smith represented the Alliance.

“We are happy to have assisted the Exchange Place Alliance in relocating its offices to the historic Provident Bank Building,” Antonicello said. “It’s a perfect fit.”
