EisnerAmper names director of global diversity, equity & inclusion

EisnerAmper, the accounting and advisory firm with a heavy presence in New Jersey, on Friday named Naomi Barrett as the director of global diversity, equity & inclusion.

Based out of the firm’s Philadelphia office, Barrett will work closely with leadership and colleagues to enhance and execute the firm-wide DE&I strategy. She will partner with service line and operations leaders to integrate and align the firm’s DE&I commitment to overall business plans and operating principles. Additionally, she will serve as an adviser to the DE&I Council and Employee Resource Group leaders by facilitating their programs and goals, including the ongoing support of the communities EisnerAmper serves.

Barrett brings 15 years of combined human resources and DE&I experience. In her role, she will work to reinforce the firm’s commitment to increasing diverse workforce representation, enhancing engagement and sentiment and expanding diversity among clients and suppliers. In addition, she will be a strategic thought leader representing EisnerAmper DEI commitments both internally and externally.

“EisnerAmper has long embraced diversity, equity & inclusion as foundational elements to our core values,” Lori Reiner, EisnerAmper chief people officer, said. “Naomi is the right person at the right time to elevate the firm’s ongoing efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive firm culture where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed and can reach their potential. We’re thrilled for Naomi to join the EisnerAmper family, and we wish her the best of luck.”

“EisnerAmper is dedicated to creating an environment where colleagues are empowered to bring their whole selves to work,” Barrett said. “I’m excited to work alongside every colleague to further our global DE&I strategy to achieve our desired business outcomes and continue to support the success of our employees, our clients and the communities in which we serve.”
