What areas or disciplines does your business school specialize in?
Liberal arts: Our programs are rooted in the liberal arts — including interpersonal communication, writing and other soft skills that businesses so desperately want and often say are not being provided by recent graduates.
Experiential learning: In an effort to ensure students are ready for real-world jobs, they are required to complete one internship, though two are recommended for better career preparation.
Fast track to degrees: In addition to combined and accelerated degree program options, there are 4+1 MBA options with partner institutions.
What are three unique classes at the school?
Workplace dynamics: In a quickly changing workspace and workplace, the school offers graduate classes for the new dynamic, including courses in organizational change management and human resources management.
Traditional tracks: The undergraduate business offerings include an accounting track that puts students on course to earning a Certified Public Accountant license.
Sports: There are majors and minors in sport management and marketing.
What is one aspect of your business department that you feel makes it stand out?
Our small classes and low student-to-teacher ratio provide Individualized instruction that comes from specialist faculty with both real-world experience and a long-term commitment to the program. Full-time faculty teach almost all of the core classes.
