What areas or disciplines does your business school specialize in?
Financial Planning and Wealth Management (B.S.): We have a 100% job placement rate for graduates. Our students have won national competitions repeatedly, including the National Industry Issues Competition and Financial Planning Association Challenge.
Professional Sales (B.S.): We offered the first major in professional sales at any institution accredited by AACSB International. We have 100% job placement rates for graduates, who benefit from the university’s Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales. The institute’s offerings include a high-tech behavioral learning lab, a highly regarded National Sales Boot Camp and National Sales Competition.
Applied Business Analytics (B.S.): This major empowers students to analyze and interpret data, and communicate insights gleaned to inform decisions and solve problems.
What are three unique classes at the school?
Engagement: All majors complete a professional enrichment program to enhance their career readiness upon graduation. Activities include professional development workshops at the Pesce Family Mentoring Institute and completing an internship.
Values: All students complete a Values, Ethics, and Sustainability class to grow as socially responsible business professionals.
Persuasion/negotiation: All MBA students are prepared for managerial roles in a required course titled Influence, Persuasion and Negotiation Strategy, which prepares them to influence others, manage conflict and negotiate agreements in a wide range of business scenarios.
