Next stop for outgoing State Sen. Steve Oroho, long considered the smartest legislator on finance: A role as wealth management advisor at Mount Arlington-based Nisivoccia Wealth Advisors.
Oroho, who announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election in the State Senate, leaves the institution as the Senate Minority Leader. He has long been a member of the Senate Budget committee.
But in his day job, Oroho has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in wealth management and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and their families.
He holds the designations as both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner, enabling him to take a holistic approach and design wealth management strategies for his clients.
Nisivoccia Wealth Advisors says it helps clients clarify important goals, define their current financial reality and create investment strategies so they can live life with intention. As an affiliate of Nisivoccia LLP, the firm feels it is in a unique position to work with a team of certified public accountants to provide clients with tax-efficient investment strategies.
Damien Paumi, wealth management advisor at Nisivoccia, welcomed Oroho to the team.
“His industry experience and client service philosophy align with ours, making the transition seamless,” he said. “We welcome Steve and his clients and look forward to working together.”
