Prism’s Nell opens amenity-filled clubhouse amid strong leasing activity

New Dunellen multifamily community ushers in a fresh brand of modern living

The Nell, a new luxury apartment and retail community in Dunellen, continues to usher in a fresh brand of modern living with the opening of its amenity-filled clubhouse, according to a Thursday announcement from Nutley-based Prism Capital Partners.

Prism’s redevelopment of the former Art Color industrial facility sits at 100 S. Washington Ave., adjacent to Dunellen’s downtown and directly across from the Dunellen Train Station.

Central to its resort-style living, the community’s clubhouse features a fitness center, yoga room, resident lounge, community kitchen and meeting rooms. Outdoors, curated spaces for recreation and gathering, include a resort-like pool, landscaped courtyard and entertainment area, private barbeques, a firepit and an outdoor bar with televisions and lounge seating will open this spring.

“The clubhouse is just beautiful — inside and out,” Prism’s Robert Fourniadis, senior vice presidential, residential, said. “Residents are already taking advantage of the indoor live/play environment of the clubhouse, and it’s easy to envision the outdoor spaces contributing to the Nell’s vibrant community feel when the warm weather arrives.”

The Nell offers upscale, modern rental homes. Its bright, airy apartments feature 9-foot ceilings, open layouts, luxury plank flooring, chef-inspired kitchens and spa-like bathrooms. On-site garage parking, smart lock entry, in-home washer/dryer, secured package room and indoor bike storage add convenience to life at the Nell.

According to Fourniadis, the Nell’s suburban location is among its greatest features.

“Dunellen is a vibrant community with a small-town feeling, where people get to know their neighbors,” he noted. “The Nell is in the heart of downtown, near shops and dining. It has a private gated entrance to the adjacent Columbia Park, is less than a half-mile from Washington Park and sits just one block from the Dunellen Public Library. All three venues host borough-sponsored events — from a seasonal open-air market, to movies, concerts, holiday parades, cultural celebrations and more.”

Fourniadis added that Dunellen’s downtown revitalization is creating great energy.

“This municipality benefits from proactive leadership focused on upholding and enhancing quality of life here,” he said. “Dunellen has a very bright future.”

With apartments available for immediate occupancy, the Nell is offering introductory monthly net rents from $2,080 for one-bedroom and $2,525 for two-bedroom layouts.
