ESIS announced that Sharon Scott has been appointed senior vice president of ESIS Medical Programs, effective June 1. Currently, Scott serves as vice president of medical programs. In her new role, she will focus on the implementation, management and oversight of ESIS’ medical programs, including bill review, Preferred Provider Organizations, pharmacy and case management.
ESIS, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Whitehouse Station-based Chubb, the largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.
Scott succeeds Veronica Cressman, who has announced that she will retire from ESIS in June, after serving the company for nearly four decades. Scott will report to Jim Shevlin, division president of ESIS.
“Sharon brings nearly three decades of experience to this role and is a proven leader in our company,” Shevlin said. “Her multifaceted experience and deep understanding of ESIS managed care solutions, combined with her strong account management abilities, position her well to lead this business and continue to develop and deliver exceptional services that help elevate ESIS’ breadth of managed care offerings.
“Veronica has served as a tremendous colleague and influential leader throughout her ESIS career. She joined the company in 1984 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the ESIS Medical Programs business. We thank Veronica for her many contributions and wish her the very best during retirement.”
Prior to joining ESIS, Scott served as director, national accounts, at Coventry Health Care and as director, account management, at Intracorp.
