QuickChek named No. 2 on list of Best Gas Stations for Food in U.S. by USA Today

Whether you’re filling up or fueling up, QuickChek has been chosen as the place to go.

The Whitehouse Station-based convenience market chain has been selected as the No. 2 “Best Gas Station for Food” in the U.S. by the USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards for 2023.

USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Awards are given for a variety of travel and lifestyle topics covering food, lodging, destinations, travel gear, things to do, seasonal family fun and much more. Voted on by consumers across the country, the “Best Gas Station for Food” contest measures a consumer’s overall shopping experience, not just fuel service or foodservice.

Best known for its made-to-order subs, including Signature Recipes and customization options to enjoy your sub your way, QuickChek continues to redefine fresh convenience. Menu favorites include All Day Breakfast featuring English muffin breakfast sandwiches, biscuit breakfast sandwiches, waffle breakfast sandwiches and more.

All newly-built QuickChek stores offer one-stop shopping for quick-service custom-made food and “Fresh to Go” prepared food to meet the needs of busy people on-the-go.

More than half of each new store is dedicated to enhancing the customer shopping experience, from freshly prepared and made-to-order food and beverages, fresh brewed coffee, healthy snacks and salads, made-to-order Red Bull Infusions energy drinks featuring flavor combinations that are unique to QuickChek, hot breakfast sandwiches and more.

Outside, drivers can fill up with high-quality fuel at value prices at well-lighted, spacious fueling stations with wide entrances and exits to get you on your way fast.

Loyal QuickChek customers can also enjoy additional benefits and savings from the free QuickChek Rewards loyalty program. Benefits include mobile ordering, free menu items and frequent shopper membership perks throughout the year.

“We’re honored to continue to be recognized as one of the best-in-class brands in America,” said QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech. “This truly reflects the hard work and dedication put out by our team members every single day.”

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Murphy USA, QuickChek is an industry leader with national honors that include being named “National Convenience Store Chain of the Year” and “Food Service Innovator of the Year.” Its fresh brewed coffee has been voted “Best in America” in a national consumer survey.

QuickChek operates 162 stores, including 101 locations with fuel, across New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.

QuickChek also was selected as one of the Top 10 “Best Gas Station Brands” in 2020 and 2022 and placed in the Top 20 this year. Salt Lake City, Utah-based Maverik, which just announced its acquisition of Kum & Go stores, finished first in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards contest for “Best Gas Station for Food.”
