Fairfield accounting firm elevates exec to chief operating officer

Fairfield-based DLA LLC on Friday said Keith Snyder has been promoted to chief operating officer. Phil Ramacca, who held the title of president and chief operating officer, will remain DLA’s president, focusing on the firm’s strategy, mergers & acquisitions, human resources, finance and accounting, and business development.

As COO, Snyder will be responsible for leading DLA’s business operations and executing business strategy related to DLA’s service offerings, information technology, marketing and office administration.

This realignment will position DLA for the next phase of its growth and to achieve its vision of being the internal audit and accounting advisory choice for employees, office of the chief financial officer, audit committees and public accounting firms on behalf of their clients.

“Keith is a seasoned leader who consistently delivers results. With his demonstrated ability to lead and efficiently manage both internal and client-serving operations, I am confident that Keith will excel in his new role. Keith is highly respected among employees, board members and clients alike and we all look forward to continuing to work with him in the years ahead,” David Landau, founder and CEO, said.

Snyder joined DLA in 2008 as a manager in its consulting practice. He then led DLA’s Internal Audit Practice from 2013 until he was promoted to chief administrative officer in 2022.
