Mount Holly Rehab & Healthcare earns accreditation from Joint Commission

Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center recently earned a prestigious accreditation for its quality care and services from the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

Located at 62 Richmond Ave. in Lumberton, the skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center received the Nursing Care Center Accreditation after a rigorous, unannounced onsite review by the Joint Commission, an independent, nonprofit organization. During the visit, its team evaluated compliance with performance standards across a range of areas, including post-acute care, emergency management, environment of care, infection prevention and control, and medication management, as well as rights and responsibilities of the individual and leadership.

Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, which offers tools and resources to help client facilities become market leaders in providing the highest-quality care and customer service.

“Achieving the Joint Commission’s accreditation after its thorough assessment reflects the entire Mount Holly team’s dedication to excellence in skilled nursing care,” Marquis’ Kate Bauer, regional director of market development, said. “At Marquis, we are proud to support Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center and congratulate their care team on this well-deserved recognition.”
