On Friday, Spiegelworld will debut Superfrico at the Hook at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, where the very best of food, beverage, art and entertainment collide, and playing at the dinner table is highly encouraged.
The restaurant, part of a new immersive entertainment venue on the Boardwalk dubbed the Hook, offers reimagined coastal Italian recipes with a fearless detour of flavors, served alongside creative cocktails, original art and world-class entertainment.
Spiegelworld is the producer of three long-running hit shows in Las Vegas, and had instant success when it opened its first Superfrico restaurant on the Strip in 2021, proving that high-energy fun and high-quality dining don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
“Superfrico, much like Spiegelworld itself, is all about breaking rules and creating unexpected and unforgettable new experiences,” Spiegelworld Executive Culinary Director Chef Anna Altieri said. “Opening Superfrico in Atlantic City is an exciting opportunity for us to push beyond the boundaries of the Las Vegas menu and explore a new region of Italian cuisine. Our goal is to transport guests to a world they’ve never experienced before that contains familiar flavors presented in new forms.”
Located literally in the backstage and dressing rooms of Spiegelworld’s the Hook theater, Superfrico is created to be a place for patrons to dine before or after seeing the Hook show, where the lines of entertainment, dining and partying are intertwined.
Altieri has teamed with Chef Nick Faucher to create a menu featuring unexpected takes on classic Italian American dishes, frico-crusted pizzas, fresh pasta incorporating heritage grains and an array of other enticing options.
Menu highlights include Ora King Salmon Crudo with homemade XO sauce and citrus; Crab Gravy Pasta with blue crab and spaghetti alla chitarra; Joyce Farms Bolognese with pappardelle and lemony ricotta; Aqua Pazza with tomato water, poached Chilean sea bass, and sea beans; a Hot Seafood Tower loaded with lobster, dungeness crabs and oysters; and the Hackney’s Deviled Crab Square, Superfrico’s signature Detroit-style pizza topped with jumbo lump crab, chives and tarragon.
Standout favorites from the Las Vegas Superfrico menu also make an appearance, including a Tableside Mozzarella experience featuring a pound of fresh Belgioioso curd pulled and stretched before guests and served with an assortment of accouterments, and a ponzu marinated Chicken Parm, coated in breadcrumbs and topped with spicy marinara and house-made mozzarella.
Superfrico at the Hook at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino will open its doors Friday, the same date the Hook show takes to the stage for the very first time.
Dining reservations can be made now at Superfrico.com. Tickets for the Hook show are also on sale now, with performances every Wednesday through Sunday at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. beginning Friday.
