Hornrock Properties unveils outdoor amenities at Ivy and Green in Hackensack

Hornrock Properties is following up the recent opening of Ivy and Green in downtown Hackensack, according to a Monday announcement. The developer debuted the new luxury rental community’s outdoor amenities that include a 14,000-square-foot courtyard and 8,000-square-foot rooftop deck.

The outdoor courtyard boasts a resort-style pool and sundeck, barbecues and pizza oven, dining and lounging areas and outdoor fitness turf. The rooftop deck features a bar, dining areas, TVs, firepits and lounge seating, while affording great views of Foschini Park, the Hackensack River and the Manhattan skyline. What’s more, there’s outside leisure activities with pingpong, foosball, life-sized chess and an outdoor movie screen and viewing lawn.

The new outdoor amenities bolster the community’s comprehensive lifestyle offerings, which also feature a double-height lobby, coworking spaces, private conference rooms and work pods, library nooks and a billiards lounge with arcade games. Creative spaces are highlighted by a speakeasy with bar and fireplace, demonstration kitchen & dining room, theater and music studio, meditation room and children’s playroom. Exercise enthusiasts enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center, including Echelon bikes, and gym studio with virtual on demand fitness and Crossfit rig. The community also offers concierge service, pet spa, package lockers, bike storage and garage parking with EV charging stations.

“We carefully thought out and designed Ivy and Green’s suite of amenities to provide residents with a harmonious living environment that encourages a balanced lifestyle,” David Hornblass, a Hornrock principal, said. “This includes seamlessly integrating indoor-outdoor living experiences that allow residents to connect, socialize, unwind and rejuvenate.”

Ivy and Green offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes in a modern six-story building with a commuter-friendly location near New Jersey Transit Bus and train service. The property is bordered by the tranquility of Foschini Park and the energy of River and Main streets, where long-cherished restaurants and shops mix with new dining and retail for a vibrant neighborhood.

The well-appointed residences offer 9-foot ceiling heights, oversized windows with complimentary treatments, in-home washer and dryer, and large built-in closets. Designer kitchens boast sleek cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, gas range and French door refrigerator, and quartz countertop and backsplash. Lavish baths are adorned with tiled walls and illuminated vanity mirrors. Select homes offer balconies or terraces to extend the living space outdoors.

Monthly rents start from the $2,500s, with grand opening incentives that include up to two months free. The residences are available for immediate occupancy.

Ivy and Green is just steps from downtown Hackensack, which is known for its unique character and streetscapes that blend contemporary buildings and homes rooted in history. Its primary business district, Main Street, is a bustling two-way thoroughfare filled with shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
