NAI James E. Hanson helps facilitate 2 leases at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville

NAI James E. Hanson helped negotiate two leases, a 2,557-square-foot renewal with Clark Dermatology at 36 Newark Ave. and a 1,776-square-foot relocation with the Heart Center of the Oranges at 5 Franklin Ave. on the campus of Clara Maass Medical Center.

NAI James E. Hanson’s Team Lizzack-Horning, comprised of Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning, represented the landlord, Everest Healthcare Properties LLC, in the transactions. Team-Lizzack Horning has served as the exclusive leasing brokerage team for Everest Healthcare Properties’ Clara Maass Campus Medical Offices portfolio, consisting of 127,143 square feet of medical office space across 5 Franklin Ave., 36 Newark Ave. and 50 Newark Ave. since 2021.

The buildings in the Clara Maass Campus Medical Offices portfolio are an ideal fit for a wide range of physicians and health care providers.

The asset at 5 Franklin Ave. is a seven-story, 53,062-square-foot medical office building with 24-hour access. 36 Newark Ave. is a three-story, 47,842-square-foot medical office building that is connected to Clara Maass Medical Center via an indoor pedestrian bridge.

“With a central location in one of the most densely populated parts of the state next to a premier health care facility, the Clara Maass Campus Medical Offices portfolio continues to be in high demand from health care tenants,” Lizzack said. “We were happy to work with both of these tenants to help them secure long-term homes for their practices as they continue to deliver care across northern New Jersey.”
