JWH breaks ground on 102K sq. ft. warehouse in Franklin (and it’s looking for tenant)

Firm already fielding offers for facility, which potentially could work for cold storage – and is expected to be completed in Q2 of 2024

Here’s something you don’t see that often in Jersey: A warehouse of more than 100,000 square feet is going up – one that has the potential to handle cold storage – and it’s still in need of a tenant.

To be clear, JWH Real Estate Holding Corp already is getting a lot of inquiries on 1100 Randolph Road in Franklin Township, where it recently broke ground on a 102,393-square-foot industrial facility. And it doesn’t figure to stay on the market for very long.

Rittwager said the plan is to lease the entirety of the space to one tenant.

The location, just two miles from I-287, makes it close to I-78, Exit 10 off the New Jersey Turnpike, and Routes 202, 206 and 22. The location also offers easy access to Port Newark/Elizabeth, the largest U.S. port on the east coast, and Newark Liberty Airport, with convenient connections to Route 440 and the Outerbridge Crossing, providing access to Staten Island, New York, and the New York City metro markets.
