Shelbourne partners with LISA app to drive tenant engagement in N.J. commercial offices

New York-based commercial real estate firm Shelbourne said it recently expanded its partnership with LISA Wellness to launch an innovative wellness amenity program across its New Jersey portfolio. The program will debut at three of its multitenant properties located at 53 Frontage Road in Hampton, 41 Spring in New Providence and 1515 Broad St. in Bloomfield. This initiative aims to increase the work-life balance that today’s workforce is seeking.

“We find that companies are no longer solely looking for a nice space to work. They want to feel valued. Additionally, employees need their workplace to be more than just a place to earn a paycheck,” Michael Seidenfeld, chief operating officer at Shelbourne, said. “Our goal in partnering with LISA is to provide our tenants with hassle-free and individual-focused beauty and wellness services, right at the workplace, ensuring individuals don’t need to take extra time out of their day to travel to feel refreshed, rejuvenated and valued. The time saved can be better spent with family and friends.”

Through this unique collaboration, Shelbourne will provide a turnkey solution for an array of beauty and wellness services, including manicures, barbering, massage, blowouts, facials, meditation, Pilates, yoga and more. This amenity enables tenants to conveniently access these desired services during the workday, promoting a healthier work-life balance, while saving valuable time and money.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with Shelbourne to include its New Jersey portfolio. Shelbourne truly values its tenants and their employees and proves it month after month by utilizing LISA beauty and wellness services to promote a healthier work-life balance,” Robert Richmond, LISA’s CEO, said. “With more employees returning to the workplace, LISA provides a unique offering to assist this transition. We look forward to continued growth with Shelbourne as they work hard to make a more desirable workplace.”

This initiative not only benefits individual employees, but enhances overall employee and tenant retention for businesses. By offering in-demand perks and amenities, Shelbourne aims to foster a positive work environment, helping its tenants strengthen their brands.

Ariel Brenner, vice president of leasing for Shelbourne, highlighted the significance of prioritizing employee health and wellness in the workplace, stating, “When employees feel their personal health and wellness are acknowledged and enhanced in the workplace, it creates a positive and productive work environment that is a win-win for both tenants and employees.”
