Lee & Associates to market Fanwood school property for sale or lease

Set on 3.8 acres, specialty asset suited for current or alternative use

Lee & Associates New Jersey has been tapped to market a 3.8-acre specialty use property in Fanwood for sale or lease. The site houses a fully built-out, 36,000-square-foot school building.

Located at 330 South Ave., the building it is currently operating as a New Jersey Department of Education-approved private school for students with disabilities that will be moving to a newly constructed building in Plainfield when construction is completed.

Lee & Associates’ Beth Chezmar and Erica Davidson are leading the assignment. According to Chezmar, the offering presents a distinctive opportunity to lease or buy a turnkey school building.

“The site is also well suited for redevelopment,” she said. “This prime Union County location could potentially make an excellent alternative use play for a multifamily investor, for example.”

Supported by excellent demographics, 330 South Ave. serves a growing population of about 291,000 people within a five-mile radius.
