RIPCO inks 2 leases, bringing medical spa, custom cabinetry business to Englewood

RIPCO Real Estate has successfully signed two leases at the KABR Group’s headquarters, located at 28-46 S. Dean St. in Englewood. Combined, the retail deals total 4,606 square feet of space.

The mixed-use, 43,000-square-foot building is in the heart of downtown Englewood. Home to over 14 national retailers, the redeveloped and reimagined building offers a 345-car covered parking garage, which is a major asset for retailers and office users alike.

After the recent lease signing with Laser Away and Suofeiya, only one corner unit, a 2,500-square-foot retail space, remains available.

Medical spa Laser Away signed a deal for 2,100 square feet. Deborah Stone, managing director at RIPCO Real Estate, brokered the deal, while the tenant was represented by Michael Miller of SCG Retail. Laser Away plans to build out the space in accordance with its brand and other locations.

“We were excited to work with Laser Away to find an ideal space to expand its brand. Medical spas like Laser Away have been expanding rapidly in the market, with a growth rate of 11.8%. We are confident that the tenant will succeed in downtown Englewood, with 17,000 daily vehicles travelling on South Dean Street and many well-known tenants as neighbors,” Stone said.

Taking 2,120 square feet of space is cabinetry manufacturer Suofeiya, which will use the space as a showroom for kitchen and baths. Stone of RIPCO was the agent who brokered the deal.

“We were excited to work with Suofeiya to find an optimal spot to launch its brand. Having previously been occupied by Modiani Kitchens, we are confident that the newly renovated building and history of a successful kitchen store will set the brand up for success,” Stone said.

“Many luxury lifestyle and wellness brands have been attracted to 28-46 S. Dean St., as it was recently upgraded in 2023 with an investment of over $3 million. KABR is proud to be part of the Englewood community and we welcome Laser Away and Suofeiya as our neighbors at 28-46 S. Dean St.,” Michael Goldstein, chief operating officer of KABR Group, said.
