Northwell Health, New York state’s largest health system, on Tuesday announced the opening of a multispecialty physician practice in New Jersey. Northwell Health Physician Partners has begun offering primary care, specialty services and a focus on the full array of liver diseases in Edgewater.
The office, located at 725 River Road, Suite 208, will enhance access to a growing community of New Jersey patients being treated at Northwell’s facilities, particularly those seeking pre- and post-transplant services.
The NHPP practice will officially represent Northwell’s expansion into New Jersey. NHPP currently operates 780 locations across Long Island, New York City, Westchester and now New Jersey.
“Many New Jersey residents who commute into New York City already get some form of care from Northwell Health clinicians,” Dr. Mark Talamini, senior vice president and executive director of NHPP, said. “We believe that care begins close to home and we see northern New Jersey as a natural extension of the coordination of care we already offer throughout the New York Metro market.”
The services include hepatology and liver transplant specialists through the Northwell Transplant Institute in Manhasset, New York.
