honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant, on Thursday said it is expanding in existing markets and growing its presence by adding locations in central New Jersey and western Pennsylvania.

A new Toms River location follows the recently announced lease signing in Old Bridge, while the Monroeville, Pennsylvania, restaurant boosts honeygrow’s presence in the Pittsburgh market.

Later this fall, honeygrow will open its doors to guests at the Simon-owned Ocean County Mall in Toms River, located at 1200 Hooper Ave., joining On the Border, PF Chang’s, Home Sense, LA Fitness, Ulta, Old Navy and more. The Toms River location will be the seventh in New Jersey, bringing 35 full- and part-time jobs.

“Both of these locations are really exciting steps for honeygrow. Expanding our presence in central New Jersey is a natural extension as we bridge the gap between our southern and northern New Jersey restaurants,” Justin Rosenberg, founder and CEO of honeygrow, said. “Likewise, adding a second location in the Pittsburgh area allows us to strengthen our brand awareness as we look to continue to add restaurants between western and eastern (Pennsylvania). We’re actively engaged in finding more opportunities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

honeygrow features a menu of five year-round and one seasonal limited-time-offer stir-fry (all under 800 calories) and six healthy salads (under 700 calories). Plus, create-your-own versions mean there are options for everyone, including making dishes with their freshly made noodles.

Guests may also choose from the Lifestyle menu for featured paleo, keto, vegan, high protein or Whole 30 standardized dishes. In line with the company’s overall mission to provide unique, delicious, and wholesome meals, honeygrow offers a kids’ menu featuring its own variety of suggested and CYO stir-fry and salad options. The restaurant also offers signature honeybars, a sweet dessert using fresh fruit, three kinds of flavored honey and various garnishes to satisfy a sweet craving.

With 36 locations across the Northeast, honeygrow says it is on a mission to bring people together through wholesome and simple foods.
