Town & Country Living relocating to Bergen County office with new 30K sq. ft. lease

JLL on Tuesday announced that Town & Country Living has leased 30,000 square feet of turnkey office space at the newly rebranded Park View 208, located at 208 Harristown Road in Glen Rock.

Town & Country Living, a home décor, textiles and design firm, will relocate its office from North Arlington to occupy approximately 30,000 square feet of Class A office space at Park View 208. The company is relocating from an industrial facility to the newly renovated office building.

Property owner 208 Glen Rock Associates LLC recently completed a comprehensive renovation that included a new fitness center, upgraded conference spaces, common areas and restrooms, as well as a new HVAC system. Originally built in 1980, the four-story, multitenant office building will soon offer additional amenities, including a grab-and-go cafe.

Situated on Highway 208 with easy access to Routes 4 and 17 and Interstate 287, the property is a 37-minute drive from Newark Liberty International Airport and within an hour’s drive of New York City. Set within a six-acre campus and featuring conveniences that include shared conferencing facilities and on-site security, 208 Harristown Road is a short drive from Glen Rock’s many local shops and restaurants and minutes from the Garden State Plaza Mall.

JLL Senior Vice President Derek DeMartino represented the landlord in arranging the long-term lease with Town & Country Living. The tenant was represented by JLL Executive Managing Directors Frank D. Recine and Frank Coco and associate Alex Friedenberg.

Ownership retained JLL in March to advise on the repositioning of 208 Harristown Road following the departure of the Bank of America, a longtime tenant whose presence led to the property being dubbed Bank of America Building. The team’s first step was to rebrand the asset as Park View 208 while reintroducing the brokerage community to the property and showcasing the renovations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Town & Country Living to this premier building,” DeMartino said. “Ownership’s commitment to upgrading Park View 208 to cater to today’s tenants and hands-on management style will undoubtedly contribute to continued leasing momentum at a time when superior quality office space remains a priority.”

Added Recine: “Park View 208 stood out as the ideal office setting due to its prime location and amenitized work environment. The space is perfectly suited to the tenant’s specific needs. The opportunity for building signage on the well-traveled Route 208 corridor was another positive that appealed to Town & Country Living.”
