Community Medical Center in Toms River is expanding access to obstetric and gynecologic care in Ocean County with the opening of the CMC Women’s Health Center.
Located at 368 Lakehurst Road, the CMC Women’s Health Center offers outpatient OB/GYN services for women of all ages and stages of life, including prenatal care, midwifery care, well-woman exams, preventative care and screenings and menopausal care. The center is staffed by a dedicated team of OB/GYN providers, affiliated with RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, who are focused on patient support and education.
“Whether a woman is expecting her first baby or going through menopause, it’s Community Medical Center’s goal to provide women in Ocean County with the care they need in a comfortable and safe environment,” Julie Cochrane, nurse practitioner, Community Medical Center’s Women’s Health Center, said. “This new center expands on our award-winning women’s health services, making care even more accessible in an outpatient setting.”
Women’s Health Center patients will receive any necessary inpatient hospital services at CMC, which has earned several national recognitions in Women’s Care Excellence.

The CMC Women’s Health Center accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, and offers flexible self-pay options. The center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
