George Newman
Newman, who founded Allied Outdoor Advertising, bought the 28-acre site surrounding the Northeast Corridor rail line and adjacent to the New Jersey Turnpike in 1982 to develop the Allied Junction project. Allied Junction was a massive retail, office and residential development to be built atop the Secaucus Junction Rail Station.
