Leon Hess
The famed American businessman is best known for two things: Founding the Hess Corp. and begin part of a consortium that bought the New York Jets in 1963 for a buy-in price of $250,000. Over the years, Hess bought out his partners — and moved the team to the Meadowlands in 1984.
