The New Jersey Conference for Women is once again on track to be the largest one-day gathering of professional women in the state of New Jersey. This year, the conference will be held Friday, Oct. 27, at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal.

This year’s conference headliner is Katie Goodman, award-winning comedian, author and international speaker whose work in comedy has amassed over 3 million online views. Goodman’s afternoon keynote speech is titled “The 8 Tools of Improv Comedy That Apply to Anything — Including Your Career,” signaling the N.J. Conference for Women’s intent to provide the freshest, most relevant content for professional women in our state.

Preceding Goodman on the main stage will be an opening keynote address from attorney, author and Certified Happiness Coach Rochelle Gapere and a thought-provoking general session from Jennifer Willey entitled “Evict the Imposter.” In addition to the main stage speakers, conference attendees will have the ability to attend a variety of breakout sessions on topics ranging from elder care and mental toughness to career transitions and health and wellness.

“You won’t find content like ours at any other women’s conference,” said Gretchen DiMarco, managing director of the NJCFW. “Our conference attendees have come to expect the highest-caliber programming that leaves them refreshed, reenergized and ready to take their career and their business to the next level. The N.J. Conference for Women is going to deliver that and much more this year.”

“The N.J. Conference for Women is the single best professional development experience our region has to offer,” said Hal English, CEO and president of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, the organization that hosts the NJCFW. “It is a day packed with opportunities for professional women to expand their network, build their skills and get reenergized going into the fourth quarter of the year. We are looking forward to welcoming women from across the state to our region.”

A new feature of the conference this year will be the Financial Forum. This will be a separate area of the conference where attendees will have the opportunity to connect with wealth managers, financial advisers, small business lenders, commercial bankers and benefits administrators to discuss issues relevant to their financial future. Representatives of Bank of America, Merrill, TD Bank, Glen Eagle Advisors, PNC Private Bank, RBAC, Newcleus and Northwestern Mutual are expected to be on hand.

Presented by NJM Insurance Group, the N.J. Conference for Women expects nearly 600 attendees from a variety of fields including law, finance, pharma, banking, higher education, real estate, nonprofit and more. Companies that will be represented at the conference range from Fortune 100s to Main Street sole proprietors.
